Lean on Me
You don’t have to go through this alone.
Are you feeling at a loss as to what to do next?
Are you struggling to cope with a particular situation or event that has happened in your life? Has the pandemic and lockdown impacted negatively on your feeling of wellbeing? I understand how troubling these thoughts and feelings can be. Reaching out for help can be hard, but you’re in the right place. You can lean on me.
My offer to you
I offer a safe, supportive and confidential space for you to talk without having to worry about being judged or criticised. I work in an integrative way and will tailor my approach to your needs and together we can find realistic solutions to your problems or come to a deeper understanding of where your worries may stem from. As an approachable and skilled practitioner, I can help you to feel heard, gain understanding, build confidence and develop skills to help you to manage the difficulties you face.
Can Counselling help me?
Sometimes life can be overwhelming, difficult or confusing. There can be times when you are unable to get to the root of what’s troubling you. Often, being able to talk things through with a trained professional, someone other than your friends or family, can bring a great sense of relief and clarity. Counselling can be helpful, rewarding and empowering.
My private counselling room is based in Carshalton SM5 should you be looking for face to face counselling. However, evidence shows that online counselling is just as effective as face to face counselling.
Ready to take the next step?
It can be tough deciding who you want to work with or whether counselling is the right next step for you. Talking things over with a therapist before committing to sessions can be helpful. I offer a free 20 minutes consultation by telephone or online, that way you can make a more informed decision about counselling and whether I am the right person for you. Please feel free to get in touch.
I offer a safe and comfortable environment to work together.
I have a wide range of experience working with many clients and have specialised in working with survivors of Domestic Abuse. Through my work with Into The Light, a specialist service for survivors of childhood sexual abuse, I also facilitate psychoeducation groups as well as one to one counselling.
I am passionate about supporting and empowering women.
Safe in my hands
I tailor my work to what you bring to the session, whether you want to explore relationships, friendships, work or family. Exploring your past may help to understand where ways of relating and behaving are no longer working for you, and allow space for positive changes.
I am an integrative counsellor and I find it useful to look at how the mind and body are connected, this can often help clients become more aware and make healthy life changes.
